Starting this spring, I will be exploring the little known Eagles Nest Wilderness in north central Colorado, north of the ski resorts of Vail and Copper Mountain. I will be spending at least a year documenting the wilderness with my camera during different weather and seasons. When I am finished with that I will be publishing a book with the photos on one page and a description of the photo and the area it was taken on the opposite page. I really want to show to people this hidden gem that has been set aside by congress for protection from any and all forms of development permanently. As far as I know no one has done anything like this for this area before, so it will be quite the exciting venture for me. The terrain is rugged and the weather can be unforgiving in this area, but it will be well worth it
