awoconnor's cre8Buzz Blog

cre8Buzz! teams with creative individuals looking for viable and unique outlets to display their various talents. Thus, I humbly announce that the Bonez Crew is looking for additional contributors to join their ranks.
The Bonez Crew is a diverse group of bloggers who utilize Bonez as a means of expression outside of their own blogs and other creative outlets. Some of the Crew do not blog anywhere else and others double post from their own blogs or create new and exclusive content just for Bonez. This allows Bonez Crew members to expand their sphere of influence and gain new readership for their thoughts and works. The additional exposure has proven beneficial to many Bonez Crew members' visitor traffic to their own home blogs and has given them opportunity to post items that may not have fit within the theme of their own blogs.
If interested, you should visit Bonez and scan through past posts to see what's going on there and keep in mind that it is only scratching the surface. We are looking for people to not do "more of the same" but to bring in fresh ideas, content, style and attitude. There is a moving and ever changing vision for Bonez and you could be one who helps birth it.
Visit Bonez and let me know if you are interested in learning more about becoming one of the illustrious Bonez Crew members.
I am impressed with the number of published writers on cre8Buzz. I am even more impressed with the number of successful published writers that are so friendly and open in their communications with fellow cre8Buzz members. Rubbing virtual shoulders with so much talent is giving me a renewed interest in once again picking up my modern day quill and dipping into the old inkpot of creativity. I find myself in the company of those who understand the Muse and her siren's call to produce worlds with words. The call to pour our creations onto paper (or its electronic equivalent) so others may experience the thrills that were once our private dreams and secret wild imaginings. Yes, I appreciate what I am seeing and am excited about the possibilities before me. Thank you, cre8Buzz!

I found this image on a blog friend's site and instantly knew I had to snatch it up. I had another friend who lives in the Netherlands give me a real hand-carved Weeping Buddha as a spiritual gift. She told me that when my troubles started to overwhelm me I was to hold the Buddha and close my eyes and meditate. I then was to think of all my troubles as going into the weeping Buddha and let him bear them and weep for me just as he weeps for the troubles of the whole world. I have done this many times and my weeping Buddha is now worn very smooth from the rubbing and shines from my oils soaking and polishing its wood.
I know some will say this is ridiculous and some staunch Christians will claim I should cast my cares on Jesus, but I say whatever works, Dude (or Dudette, whichever case may apply), just do it! Find what works for you to relieve stress and cope with the insanity of this world and DO IT. Don't let it pile up inside you like a stinking pile of crap or fester like an infected wound. Get it out anyway you can and purge yourself of the disease of stress and worry.
I am writing to myself. My weeping Buddha hasn't been getting the job done lately and I feel my Muse gently tugging at the corners of my mind to get on with what really works for me. Writing. Writing honestly from the depths of my soul and letting the words take on their own life as they draw out what was locked within me. Locked but not forgotten. Give the words life and let them bring light to what was unspoken and hidden in the inner darkness of my secret places.
See, it's already working and I have yet to begin in earnest.
