My worst advice was that for the first 24 hours, they MUST eat every 2 hours. Not true. During the first 24 hours, they can go as long as 4 hours b/c they're still getting used to being out and need to sleep as much as possible. My 1st night in the hospital with my 2nd was the worst night of my life b/c all she wanted to do was sleep and the nurse kept INSISTING on trying to feed her. I actually had to yell at the nurse to let us both sleep. I was also told that if it hurts, you're doing it wrong. No matter how right you're doing it the first week, it WILL HURT LIKE HELL and BLEED and scab. It's normal. Once you're through the tough time, no, it shouldn't hurt. Until they get teeth.

Get legislators hands off my boobs already! Can you tell I'm a breastfeeding advocate? Nice talk, thanks ladies. Whatever side of the fence you are on with this issue, it is great to have dialog going on.
