As I'm working in my home office, I glance out the window and see huge, white fluffy flakes falling as fast as can be. It's the last weekend of September.

My seven-year-old runs into the house, yelling, "Mom, I need my mittens."

I hear my fourteen-year-old ask his friends gathered around the big screen TV, "Who else wants hot chocolate?"

My husband arrives home from a business trip to California, wearing shorts and complaining about the weather. Go figure.

As for me, I love the snow. Especially the first one of the year, and most especially when I can watch it from home and not have to drive in it.

So, now, I'm signing off so that I can go watch the snowfall and remember, sometimes a person with a busy life just needs a little time to watch the weather.
