An eclectic traveler (well, before baby), I've lived in Michigan, California and Paris (yep, France). A writer, a reader, a movie and theater and genre TV buff - I'm now a transplanted New Englander. Married for 7 years to a wonderful husband, I now have a toddler son to chase. My blogs are my attempt to kick my former perfectionist, detail-oriented, executive assistant personality to the curb and embrace my Grandma's philosophy of "Dirt Makes Fat." It sounds a bit more elegant in German, but - "Life is Messy" - ENJOY!

Hi Smittens, Thanks for visiting my profile today. I got a laugh when you specified which Paris you were speaking of. Living in Southern California, you'd be surprised at how many people don't realize there is a Perris California. I studied abroad in Europe and love Paris and Italy. I have got to get back there and explore all the many places I didn't get to. Have any suggestions or locals secret places that not many people know about? Do share!
