Seeing this bird fly at the Falconry Center was a treat. At this particular place the birds are trained to fly low, over the heads of the audience. It gives you a chance to see just how big and magnificent they are. I just love the expression raptors have, so very, very intense. Turkeys may be smarter, as old Ben Franklin said, but for a national symbol, you can see why this bird won hands down.
