Once again, I need some advice. See, I haven't kept up with Jr. High culture over the past few years (read 21) and now, I have landed myself smack dab in the middle of it and we are coming upon our next obstacle. Next week is Homecoming week for Al and The Boy and I am not sure what Jr. High Homecoming etiquette is. Do the boys still ask girls to go to Homecoming with them? If Al chooses not to go to Homecoming with someone (assuming they do that) should I buy her a mum? do they still do mums?

I need some help here, people. If you have any experience with this, please, throw me a bone!
