I am a happy man. I am madly in love with my beautiful wife of 28 years, Gail. I have two fantastic grown children, Jenica and Adam, now 25 and 24 years old. I am surrounded by incredible friends and lead a very active life. I also have MS. The progression of the disease has caused me to take an 'early retirement'. Today I spend much of my time writing, speaking whenever and wherever possible and being involved with the National MS Society activities.

Did you happen to hear coach Marla, myself and Amy Kiel on the Blogtalk radio show, www.winninglifethroughpain.com Tuesday, 12/16? It is an awesome show to share with anyone dealing with depression, thoughts of suicide and relationships stressed as a result of chronic illness or disability. If you missed it check it out and please tell others about the archived show from 12/16.
As usual, I shared my book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me as it was appropriate, because my self-help memoir also addresses one's feelings of depression, low self-esteem, worthlessness inadequacy and anxiety, all of which becomes all-consuming of one's happiness, compassion and desire to go on with life. My book is certainly no literary masterpiece. No, far from it, hopefully that's not what you were expecting. I am a nutritional chemist by trade. Writing this book for others to read, benefit and heal their relationships, in other words avoid making the same relationship destroying mistakes that I made. My book, the ability to gather my thoughts and put pen to paper is the gift that I received or the good that has come out of my affliction. Either way, it's from God and it has restored my self worth, given me purpose, abundant happiness and most importantly it has visibly and miraculously shown me that God is with me every day.
May God bless you every minute of every day,
Chris
