So anyway I go to take leave a crap the other day and my three year old son happens to be taking a bath. There is a wall between the shower and toilet. As I start to take care of business screams start to come from the shower. I know he is not drowning from the two inches of water that has accumulated in the bottom of the tub and there is no soap yet to burn his eyes.

So as I sit I peep around the corner into the shower to see what the hell had happened. My son is holding his junk in his hand and tears pouring down his face.

Me: "What is wrong?"

Masen: "I have a boo boo."

Me: "Where?"

Masen: "My package."

Me: "It is going to be o.k. just give me a minute and I will check."

I end up wrapping it up prematurely to go over and check because he is hysterical.

Me: "I can't see anything where is it?"

Masen: (With tears in his eyes) "daddy there is a hole."

I spent the next 5 minutes trying to explain what the hell the hole was, why he needs it and why it will always be there. Next I guess.... the poop shoot?

I will start off with this I have worked legally and illegally, full time and part time, at a desk and manual labor. I have done it all or so I thought .

I have now been a stay at home dad (except for the past week) for 3 years and 9 months day in day out. I in the past few months have been a single parent stay at home dad with the kids 24 hrs a day for pretty much the whole month each month. I want to start off by telling the majority of the world to go screw themselves. Stay at home moms have and will never be treated as equals to the rest of the working force. Now stay at home dads forget respect you are looked at a lot of the time as not being able to provide for your family or just flat out lazy we are the lowest of the low.

In my case my wife X-wife even if she wanted to could never be a stay at home mom. There are a lot of people that could not do it and those of us who stay home still respect the ones that can not. I can honestly say it can be the hardest and most stressful job in the world. You are responsible for a 18 year long project. There for a lot of us or at least me are no rain days ,holidays, sick days, personal days, or vacation time. You are a maid, cook, repair main, therapist, teacher, chauffeur, entertainer, and much much more. As a stay at home you give up you life and career as you know it for the better of your children what do we get paid in hugs, kisses and love. Well for those significant others who say it or just think it we are free loading pieces of shit pay up, dads here is your salary info and moms here is your salary info. For the rest of the world if we got paid those are respectable salaries so eat it.
