parents' cre8Buzz Blog
Hello everyone,
This is for all the moms on Cre8Buzz. (Sorry guys).
My husband and I last month launched a cash prize contest for the most popular blog post on our blogging mothers community. There are a few conditions that come along with the contest but not all that difficult.
Because our community is still fairly small we didn't have anyone meet those conditions and therefore didn't have a winner last month.
We enjoyed seeing the activity and watching people vote that we decided to run the contest each month. To kick off though we took it one step further and decided to add last months cash prize to this months cash prize. So, that being said, October's contest is going to be worth $200.00 instead of the normal $100.00.
If any of you are interested in competing for this cash contest please see http://bloggingmothers.com/blog/win-10000-every-month/.

One of the new blogging moms at http://www.bloggingmothers.com wrote a post about Gerbils and life lessons with her children. It was a great hoot and even my husband got a laugh over it.
Something even funnier that I seen was the ad associated with the post. You really have to read the post and then take the ad into consideration but both are just downright funny. Here is a screenshot of the ad to get you interested:

You can read the The Gerbil Chronicles, Part 1 at http://bloggingmothers.com/theengs4/2008/09/12/the-gerbil-chronicles-part-1/
My husband is like a kid in a candy store. Today our business cards came in for http://www.bloggingmothers.com. He can't wait to hand them out, add them to the business card holder at some restaurants we frequent and have others give them to friends and family.
Anyways, the cards are pretty good quality. I've scanned the front and back so that you all can see what they look like.

Today is my second anniversary with my husband. The first year was devoted to me getting my teaching credential. The second year was with our first child in the oven and who knows what our third, fourth and ... will turn out to be like.
What I do know is that we still love one another and in many ways feel as though we are on our honeymoon after all these years.
So here is to 60 - 70 more years of picking up his dirty socks, washing laundry, watching shows together, eating out, cuddling when it is cold and sleeping on opposite sides of the bed when it is 80 - 90 degrees out at 11 at night.
Two weeks ago during our little ones scheduled pediatricians appointment I pointed out to the Doc that it seemed as though our little one's spine was more on the right than down the middle.
He wanted to have this looked at so had me schedule a CT scan which was completed last week.
The results are in and it turns out our babies right side of his rib cage is longer than his left. Additionally there may be two spinal disks that are under developed.
Our Doc isn't an expert in this area but he said that if it doesn't get looked at that the end result might lead to our child one day having scoliosis.
So at the end of this month we have an appointment with an Orthopedic that specializes in child back issues.
My husband and I aren't too worried yet but I'm sure we are a little anxious to hear that these things are naturally corrected or not an issue.
For those of you that passed around prayers for this to be small and none bothersome; we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and ask that you'd keep him in your thoughts and prayers until we hear any more news.
For anyone interested, my husband said that you are welcome to subscribe to this blog because he wants me to make updates on appointments and stuff on this particular post.
