Me too. The Husband and I tend to dread it every year. Care to brainstorm coping mechanisms with me here for dealing with holiday travel, gift stress, in-laws and more?

First and foremost - I remember the reason for the season! Next - if you want to have the time of your life - survival is a piece of cake! Hang out with as many children as possible and experience the holiday through their eyes! You're guaranteed to have an absolute BLAST! And when all else fails - spiked eggnog never hurts!!! ;)

Yep, I am with the mikster! Spike the eggnog! Massages sound good too.

I can't wait until it's all over. All of the nonsense leading up to that one day is very stressful for some.

Exchange massages. While you're out having fits shopping, take a few minutes to find the bath and body section and see if they sell a fun nice massage oil. Put it to use when you get home, and it'll melt a lot of the stress and that "Holy barf buckets, but people are NUTS this time of year!" feeling.

Become an atheist, then stop celebrating Christmas. The second part is much harder than the first.
