I write. I write a lot. Scads of book reviews, nano-scads of interviews. Uberscads of blog posts.

What I want to do and set out to do is write books. How many novels do I have started and languishing in computer files...too many. I have a horrible habit of writing my brains out, producing half (teen humor) or three-quarters (general fiction) of a book and then setting it aside.

All that to say that I haven't found THE vein that intersects with my heart, the vein that will bleed THE story within.

I also write non-fiction. Marriage -- a hot button -- been married 26 years. Oh, the things I have learned the hard way. Parenting. We have two full grown, fully functional adults, YAY! and an in-progress teen who has tested all my theories. I also love Jesus. Hate religion, mind you, because rigid religion is kind of anti-Jesus. I love that He expects me to do hard things and that He goes along with me and gets dirty in the process. I love my family and I love to laugh.

So to sum up my favorite things. Jesus, my husband, my kids, friends, quirk and a good pratfall, great books and laughing at all of life's absurd and fabulous offerings, then writing about them.
