I am the wife of one awesome fire captain of the Houston Fire Department and the mother to a feisty, spicy little girl that we adopted from China. I am also a retired firefighter(due to an injury), a fire chaplain, and I run a non-profit organization for the emergency services called Firefighter Ministries (www.firefighterministries.org). I am an avid blogger and blog reader. I love to scrapbook, read, do almost anything outdoors as long as it's not 100 degrees, and I really love to travel.
