Don't worry, you'll get your life back once the kids have left home. ;-)

Good grief, you made me yawn. What's THAT all about? Love this pic. Absolutely LOVE it! Somehow you have captured the essence of all-that-is-dreadfully-dull about parenthood. Thank God kids spice things up by wreaking havoc almost nonstop. The thing that kills me is reading aloud chapter books they've brought home from the school library--pitifully boring horsie ones--ALWAYS. Grok! The stupid things make me nearly comatose and I just may hurl if I see yet another sorry example of kid-lit involving a horse. Confession: Sometimes I liven the stories up by interjecting plots that aren't there and political sarcasm they'll never absorb--but my husband does. Of course, he then stops washing the dinner dishes and cracks up. Keeps everyone from yawning I suppose. ;-)

This could so easily be me. Why can't the coffee shop and the playground be right next to each other? Who took this, btw?

Shhhh! Don't tell my wife this, but I once fell asleep on the swigs while my daughter played in the sandbox. I fell on my butt. This picture = priceless!

At least you're not stuck pushing the swing - sends me into a coma every time!

If only I could do that... once The Girl starts walking better I'll be able to just do some sleep standing! ;P
