If you haven't noticed yet the word trashy is a huge part of my vocabulary, its like my favorite adjective in the world. Sometimes my kids, namely Nicholas, picks up on my special words or phrases.

Nicholas using the word trashy hasn't been the most horrible thing in the world...until a couple of weeks ago.

I was in the PX buying some wine and there was a woman there asking her husband about amaretto, he couldn't answer her question so me, being the nosy bitch that I am, answered her and then we started talking.

She was a really nice woman, her husband was too and as I was talking to her a picking out wine I heard Nicholas mutter something. The woman looked appalled and so I asked him to repeat since I couldn't hear him.

He said, "Mom, I don't like it when you talk to trashy people!"

I was mortified.

I quickly asked Nicholas is my most horrified voice where he heard a word like that from, knowing damn well, and luckily the little shit didn't sell me out.

He said, "From myself."

Lucky for me he was being a smart ass.

I made him apologize to the woman as did I, she was a really nice lady, not trashy in the least.

When we got into the car I had a nice, long talk with him about using words he doesn't understand and I told him trashy was now a bad word and we weren't going to be using it anymore.

Damn me, now I can't say trashy anymore...but I can on here, he doesn't read this crap.
