Hi! I live in the Chicago suburbs and I'm a wife, mom, and writer just to name a few. I don't sit still much; it's a combination of having too much to do and too little time, and feeling guilty because there's always laundry to be done. I have a fabulous husband who is very supportive of every single one of my outlandish ideas, two teenagers (I know, I know...I couldn't possibly be that old...I hear it all the time! LOL) who make me proud every day, and a rambunctious beagle who keeps me on my toes. I am drawn to foreigners (don't get me started) and have found my evil German twin (Kat) as well as other really great people via blogging. Oh yeah, although I have the spirit of a 25-year-old, I will turn 40 this November, and I hated typing that just now. But I'll get over it.

I mostly write articles for a nail (salon) industry magazine but I'm trying to change that up. Also, last fall I published a book about pet loss called "Remembering Ruby: For Families Living Beyond the Loss of a Pet" (available on Amazon!) The blog about my book is located at: Remembering Ruby. I have three more books in my head, dying to get out.
