It's funny...before kids I was an AWESOME environmentalist...

I was a vegetarian.
I had an organic garden.
I recycled everything.
I walked everywhere.

Then suddenly, along came the kids, and I was thrown into a world of picky eaters, time-suckers, battery powered toys, and disposable everything!

I had to rethink my whole eco-strategy! Hence, The Green Parent...my attempt to meet my kids' nutritional, financial, education, and recreational needs each day without totally trashing the planet!
