First, I am a Christian. That just means I talk to God and have an ongoing personal relationship with his Son, Jesus. He gives my life meaning and purpose that I'd likely not have otherwise. Hands down, the best decision I ever made.

Second, I am married to a minister, which if not taken too seriously provides an abundance of topics to write about...(tongue planted firmly in cheek) We have been married almost 15 years. He is kind and compassionate and my best friend.

Next, I am blessed (most of the time) to be called "Mom" by four kids. The older two are homeschooled; the little ones keep our lives interesting and fun.

Finally, I'm just me. I don't have an on-line or blogging "persona." What you see is, unfortunately, what you get. While I poke fun at the things (and sometimes people) in my life, I really do love it.

I know that one day when I no longer hear the noise of the kids, or have to clean up their messes, I'll probably miss it...underneath the shade of a palm tree with a cabana boy bringing me fruity little drinks and snacks.

Yeah. sigh
