Hi, I have not been on the Buzz for so long. Just created a new web site for my book. Check it out. The link is in the following e-mail. I am writing to you in hopes that you can provide me with a voice. 75 percent of relationships where one of the partners has a chronic illness ends in divorce. That's heartbreaking. I know, because I lived through it and I have written a book. If my book can save one relationship, it will have been well worth my literally making my life an open book. I've received feedback from MS patients who have read the book and they love it. I have spent a lot of time on the MS world web site in the forums and on the message boards dealing with relationships. I've dealt with the topic firsthand and wrote a book about it, but I had no idea how prevalent and common the divorce situation was among couples with MS or chronic illness in general. The stories I've heard on the message boards regarding the anger, hatred and mean-spiritedness was devastating to me. I lived through a similar situation, chronicled in my book "Life Interrupted, It's Not All about Me " and I was still blown away (Metro West newspaper articles link below). Apparently an overwhelming number of individuals suffering from MS believe that we are alone when faced with marital problems resulting from the stress of having a chronic illness or disability and that is so not true. That's why I want people to know about my book. If you would like to learn more about the book please visit my web site www.LifeInterrupted-nolonger.com and share with those whom you believe would benefit from reading Life Interrupted, It’s Not All About Me. Thank you, for your help. Thanks again, have a great day. God bless, Chris (cut and paste newspaper article link into browser) http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/lifestyle/x817620736
