I am the mother of two amazing teenagers who have recently well exceeded me in height.

I am an avid photographer, although I have had an unfortunate downgrade in equipment recently.

I also write poetry and short fiction.

I run a poetry group where I give prompts every week to the members who write poems that I then judge according to an algorithm that I came up with.

I love to write short stories in response to prompts as well. I love being a part of writing groups in general.

I sometimes paint, but I'm lousy. My craft painting is pretty good and I do have a good eye for restoring things.

I love to decorate for each season.

I try to learn something new every day.

I don't believe break-ups necessarily help your creativity.

I believe in love-at-first-kiss.

I believe a successful life is one where you endeavor every day to find happiness in the things that you do and with the people around you.
