Good Sunday food!

Proverbs 16: 15 - 16
When a king's face brightens, it means life;
his favor is like a rain cloud in spring.

How much better to get wisdom than gold,
to choose understanding rather than silver!

I love the images the first verse brings to mind - life, spring rains, growth - I hope that every day I am growing in the Lord, and it makes me so happy that I can count on Him to teach me new things each day!

The second verse puts things into perspective - given a choice I hope that I would choose wisdom and understanding rather than money! Those are the things that last!
