I don't know if anyone else is encountering this, today. I can't get on, pretty much anyones blogs...including my own!! What's up with that? Google error, it says...dammit!!

I need to visit my friends!! I have time, right now!! I'm so so so annoyed!!
Anyone else having problems with this?
Oh yeah...it seems to only be on blogspot blogs...it says a 502 error...whatever that means!!

I'm on a mission. This have been in my head since November! I know that there are quite a few charities and organizations out there, already but...still.

Right now, this is called Project Lovey. The idea is, to get a backpack or tote and fill it with things for homeless children. Ages 0-12. I'm thinking that the only thing that HAS to be new is the blanket part of it. Otherwise, gently used or new items are fine...books, action figures, stuffed animals, toothbrushes, ponytail holders, rattles, socks, pajamas...anything. Fill these backpacks or totes with things that homeless children can call their own!! Because, they have NOTHING!! On the tote or backpack, put a label...who it's from and what sex and age the stuff is for. Right now, I'm in the process of finding a place or places, in the US to send it to.

Let's show everyone what the power of blogging can do! How we bloggers can ban together and make a difference!! My goal is to have close to one thousand filled bags to send off by Thanksgiving!!

I've compiled a list, based upon many homeless shelters wish lists...
Diapers
pull-ups
underwear
slippers
pajamas
children's coloring supplies...crayons, coloring books etc
children's hair bows, holders, barrettes
action figures
books...age appropriate for the tote that you are putting together.
diaper rash cream
blankies/loveys
stuffed animals...gently used but, preferably new.
for middle school aged kids...
calculators
pens
pencils
spiral bound notebooks
folders
reading books...age appropriate
this is just a small list of the many things that are needed. but, let's do what we can. a small backpack or tote can hold many things...which would be so loved and appreciated!

OK Bloggers...the challenge is getting ready to be made. Are you ready for it? It's not hard to do. So...let's see what we're made of!

We had a massive windstorm, here in Michigan, last night. It blew all my outdoor furniture around, knocked down trees...but worse, it knocked out power...at my house and many other places. So, I can't blog today! I'm borrowing my friends computer. She is lucky...she has heat, and power!! But, hopefully by tonight, I'll have electricity again. If not...there is no possible way we can stay at my house...unlivable right now. You can see your breath, on the exhale. It's soooooooo frigidly cold!!
So, while I am sooooooooo upset at not being able to blog...I simply can't. I can't visit my friends blogs. I can't post what I wanted to post about. I can't accept the award I received from Nissa at Nissa's Niceties!!! Thank you honey...I love the award, and you!!

If any of you are like me...the only people that read my blog, back in the beginning...were family and the occasional real life friend. But, as our blogs grew and we joined more social networks...those posts, so lovingly written, still remained ignored. Only the new posts, still lovingly written...were noticed. The poor, little lost posts, sitting in our archives, crying and waiting to be noticed...they called to me...and my new blogging buddy Coleen at Manners and Moxie...she is now on cr8buzz...go and say hello to her! So, we put our, way above average IQ heads together, and came up with...ta dah...
