Description:
Another collaboration by the team of Scott Townsend and Conceptual Drudgery. This is a song made up of words from the Delaware language, Lënapei Lixsëwakán, and mashed up. The 3 Delaware words used are words for different types of food. For example, (spelling phonetically) Sulla Seekan is a meat dish with dumplings. Pee Two Can OuK is a soup made from the Milk Weed plant. Caa Haughx Pawn is a dried corn dish and boy is it good. There's your American Indian history lesson for the day. Many thanks again to Conceptual Drudgery for this awesome Mash-up.

I hadn't listened to this since we pieced it together initially all those months back. It's kind of a quirky tune with a hodgepodge of a melody. I like it though, it doesn't take itself too seriously and possesses a certain whimsicality that I can't put my finger on. Go us!
