as i was looking at your list, we have some in common...here are a few: drinks too much coca cola, been in a car that's ran over a dog, hopeless at math, don't smoke...there's a few others. telling it like it is is always a plus in my book, so i enjoyed learning more about you :)

Wow, I love NG. Never give up on your dreams. Heck, if I were you..I would start sending pictures NG once a week until they finally admit that you are the greatest in the land!

It seems all of us artistic types suffer the most, don't we. We're the tortured souls roaming the earth who paint the pictures and portray the world through solemn, realistic eyes. And we're also probably the most misunderstood. Don't ever give up on your dreams!

I love the fact you are so honest and transparent...its a good thing and may help you down the road...I can't say...I've never been in love but I can tell you..it wasn't until now that I appreciate it...hmmm...often times when you least expect it...it happens...you have friends..here...and you have a new one...me. :)

Other than experiencing the unconditional love of my mother ans sister - I have never been in love, or experienced being loved by another.

Oh.. I didn't know about your dream for National Geographic! I was thinking that not too long ago... how you'd make an excellent photographer for them!! WOW! I came back, you see, I came back because I felt I needed to. You've made this place so great, J. Yes, you have. I missed it, and I missed you, and I missed the sense of community that lies here and nowhere else on the internet.

I've always wondered if I'd be able to ride an elephant or a camel. I'm afraid of heights but I'm all right if I know I'm on something solid, but I don't know if I'll see it that way on an animal's back.

I think the list idea is excellent. It shows the varied background of people. When people describe themselves as a nurse or a biker, I think it really limits people's views of them...they become two dimensional. Yet trying to figure out how a person can got from a low point to riding an elephant to talking to Princess Anne, it makes one reflect on the whole journey of a soul and not just a momentary image. BTW..."Enjoy philosphical questions/debates"...I haven't had a good argument in quite some time. (he says, throwing down gauntlet and smiling)

I don't think I could have come up with 50 facts about myself...but did see some things that we might have in common. My son was recently diagnosed with OCD, by daughter climbed the Great Wall of China last summer, and my favorite color is also cornflower blue. Thanks for all the beautiful photos!

Wow, you've led an interesting life! It's a great list, definitely more readable than the usual 'I like cheese' stuff people often write for these things. "Owns a drum-kit, keyboard, guitar and bongo drums." I bet you're popular with your neighbours ;-)

There is always that fear of exposure. However, I did enjoy getting to know you a little better.

Yes Ian, was a struggle but once I got started I managed - albeit wary of the fact I was exposing a lot of personal info.

That's a great set of random facts. I know I struggled to put together a list of 8 random facts, so 50 is impressive. Ian
