How should we launch? What is the best way for us to have a slammin' cool, tight open our doors to the public event?

How do we get more exposure, write ups in techcrunch, mashable,etc? (more exposure for you guys, yeah!) How do we get on the first page of dig, stumbled etc? How do we get more members for you to play with? How do we get more stuff for you guys to see; more blogs, pictures, video's, etc? How do we blow up cre8Buzz at launch? How can we get ya'll involved, cause ya'll got us this far?

HOW DO WE CREATE BUZZ FOR CRE8BUZZ?

To go public BIG do exactly what John Reese did with his BlogRush, the only thing that will be different will be there wont be problems with Cre8buzz.

You guys have aced it in making this site and yes this is one of the coolest and tightest communities I have ever seen.

How about all the members that are here write the same content on the very same day on all their blogs. All of your blogs have some kinda readerships and loyal fans and although press release and all that will help, blogs will get to a cretain group of people that would never know.

Let's prepare a post and post it on the big day on all our blogs and get the Anthill buzzing like crazy on the internet, Anyone in??

First off, how soon are you planning on doing this?

I like Ritu's idea, and I'm completely on board if it's what you decide to do--you know that already, I hope.

My only concern with it is that even the most popular bloggers here are NOT huge names in the blog world. (It's one of the things I really like about this place, actually, but it could hinder you in your big launch.)

And, of your 500 + members here, I wonder how many would actually bother with putting this on their blog. Some of us are very active and dedicated to the buzz, but others are just here for the ride--which is fine, but you may not get a lot of promoting out of them.

I guess what I'm saying is that yes, I think Ritu's idea is a good one and that we should go with it, but only as a piece of the big plan. What should the other pieces be? yeah... I have no idea. But we'll be thinking about it.

Oh, and one last thing. Stop giving us credit for how awesome this place is. It's because of YOU GUYS and we're so grateful for all you've done here. :-)

I hear where you are coming from Brillig. I am pretty sure they are going to have a press release which will create quite a buzz. I dont know what other marketing plans they have decided on yet.

About blogs, even if only 200 of us write down the launch date and a brief info on our blogs and if each blog has ony 2 readers thats still 400 people that were exposed, who might have never known as some people are not as active on the internet.

Also I am excited about this. I have been talking about it in a couple of forums and have submitted the link to a lot of articles sites and all that.

Also another thing that might be helpful is Antman, that you guys should pick a date and start marketing right away so as to create anticipation in public. My views, lemme know what you think and if there is anything I can do personally shoot at me and will do what I can

Gosh, Brillig, and here I thought I WAS a huge name in the blog world! LOL Google Analytics says around 175 people read my blog Table for Five a day, so if I post about this site, that's 175 people who learn about it. Most of the other people in the "Moms" category here have similar if not much better traffic, so we're talking about one day of exposure in the tens of thousands, I'm sure.

I also think a widget for our sidebars is a good idea. What about something like what BlogRush does, where you pull RSS feeds into a widget box? Each of us that puts it on our sidebar would be promoting other cre8buzz members as well as the site itself. Just a thought.

Get Ellen Degeneres to plug it on her show. She's great for publicity! Contact her through her site will be a slow process. Call your local channel 5 affiliate, and ask the general manager to contact them directly.
